Women’s Rugby Alum Named to U.S. Olympic Team

A history maker – Alena and Team USA bring home the first Olympic medal in US history for Women’s Rugby. We also believe she is the first Club Sports alumni to medal in the Olympics!

Congratulations and best of luck to Alena Olsen, alumna of the University of Michigan and our Women’s Rugby team, as she represents the USA in the 2024 Olympics in Paris.

Alena served as the Club’s Vice President from 2015-2017 and left a great legacy not only as a Rugby player, but also as a leader of the organization.
