Planning an outdoor adventure doesn’t have to include an expensive trip to the nearest outfitter. Just rent from us instead! We offer inspected and dependable equipment like camping tents, bikes, yard games and more!
All renters will need an Adventure Pass to rent and reserve gear. For Michigan Recreation Members (including all actively enrolled students) and those paying by departmental shortcode, the Adventure Pass is free. Those without a Michigan Recreation membership can purchase an Adventure Pass for $15/semester to be able to rent our equipment.
When you buy your pass, you agree to the Adventure Leadership Resource Center policies, including but not limited to late fees, damage, and replacement costs. (More information about these policies can be found under Policies.) All pass sales are final and non-refundable.
If you have a U‑M unique name, you can purchase your pass by signing into your university unique name on the M Recreation website. Under Membership, it will generate the option to purchase an Adventure Leadership Pass. This pass will be automatically adjusted in price depending on your M Recreation membership status.
If you DO NOT have a U‑M unique name (including those with a U‑M Friend Account), you can purchase your pass by requesting that we set up a Michigan Recreation account for you by submitting this form. Once we have received your completed form, we will set up your account—typically within 1–3 business days—then you can login and proceed with purchasing your Adventure Leadership pass. If you have follow up questions or have no login information by 3 business days email us at [email protected].
You may purchase your pass online.
